Rescue:
Joey is such a sweet cat. We are not sure where his original owner adopted him from, but
unfortunately she now found herself to be temporarily homeless. In the past she had had housing
but was evicted and back-and-forth to shelters. She had gone into a center for help for herself
and for Joey. She really didn’t have a safe place for him and although permanent housing
was lined up, there was a delay in moving in there, but more so, she found out he was not
welcomed. She was very upset as she loved Joey and she had had him since he was a kitten,
but she had to choose between a roof over her head or him. Joey was looked after by a staff
member of the center until a new home could be found for him. After exhausting family and
friends they reached out to Pet Patrol. Joey is now ready to be adopted into a forever home.
Personality:
Joey is a very good looking cat and such a nice boy. He loves to play with balls with bells in
them and stuffed toys, as well as the scratching post and wand toys. He is quite active and
friendly, is affectionate and cuddly and won’t say no to brushing, chin scratches or just a hug.
He is good with other cats once they are introduced properly and he has such a loud purr.
Joey is lovely and adores his people. He may nibble on your hands a little bit but he is learning not to do that. This sweet boy is ready to be adopted into his new home. One that will
welcome him into the family and keep him safely indoors.
