Rescue:

Told by their rescuers: A family of kitties were rescued from the backyards of a country town,
living under sheds as a family of six. Mommy cat had a few litters this past year and these
ones have stuck together. In fact, two cats were caught in one cage and another beside them
all at once. These cats were fed daily with morning and dinner meals, some times even shrimp
appetizers from an amazing lady who has rescued and cared for cats and wildlife for decades. Neighbors noticed the young kittens out in the cold and posted on social media looking
for assistance. After three nights and days of trapping volunteers had all cats secured. The last
kitten took a little extra time as she was alone and scared. Once inside all the kitties were
enjoying their stay at Hotel Cozy. They had their own private suite with an endless supply of
food and water, their snuggling and cuddling increased with each kitty being rescued. They
literally sat on top of each other, intertwined and toasty warm. They enjoyed their safe room for
a few days until being welcomed by Pet Patrol.

Personality:

Hastings took a little while to warm up to people, but has progressed weekly and gained
confidence. It was comforting for him to have other cats with him in his foster home where he
was pet, received nice ear rubs and back massages daily. Hastings can purr loudly when
happy and has the sweetest little meow. Discovering toys was interesting to watch as in his
previous street life everything was about survival, there was no time to be playful. He is most
interested in the wand toys, crinkle balls and catnip mice have become favourites. Hastings is
ready to be adopted into his forever home. One that will welcome him into the family and keep
him safely indoors
