Rescue:

Lacy and Lainy, plus their siblings were discovered on a beef farm where there were just too
many cats. They were amongst many, many felines that the woman living on the property was
quite hesitant to part with any of them, especially these two. Local cat rescue organizations had
tried over the years to help her rehome the cats and have the adults altered, at the least, but
there were many disappointing trips out there. Now that the woman is elderly and her health
failing the family has stepped in and the cats are being rescued. Lacy and Lainy and their little
feline family that includes Libby, Lilly and Lucy came into Pet Patrol care before the weather
became unbearable. There was no heat source for them in the barn or shed and within
months they would have started to breed creating a larger over population of cats and unwanted kittens.

Personality:

Lainy and Lacy are happy-go-lucky and love their indoor life! Both will purr quickly when held,
pet and cuddled. They like to be carried around over your shoulder as they snuggles into your
neck, and observe the room from a new vantage point. Everything is interesting and looking
out the window at the birds and squirrels outside is quite amusing to them, and they often nods
off to sleep in the sunbeam after the entertainment has left the yard. As playful kittens they like
chasing after toys, laser pen lights and anything that bounces or rolls. Another cat’s tail is quite
entertaining as well! Lacy and Lainy are lovely and ready to be adopted into their forever
home with each other. One that will welcome them into the family and keep them safely indoors.
