Rescue:

Libby and her siblings were discovered on a beef farm where there were just too many cats.
They were amongst many, many felines that the woman living on the property was quite hesitant to part with any of them. Local cat rescue organizations had tried over
the years to help her rehome the cats and have the adults altered, at the least, but there were
many disappointing trips out there. Now that the woman is elderly and her health failing the
family has stepped in and the cats are being rescued. Libby and her little feline family that
includes Lucy, Lainy, Lilly and Lacy came into Pet Patrol care before the weather became
unbearable. There was no heat source for them in the barn or shed and within months they
would have started to breed creating a larger over population of cats and unwanted kittens.

Personality:

Libby, out of all the siblings, is a little more quiet but it doesn’t take her long to adjust and relax
with love and attention. She loves full head-to-tail pets, back massages and cuddles from her
people. Since her siblings are so out-going, we predict she will come along quickly with more
one-on-one attention and less activity in her foster home. She doesn’t miss much though: she
is an observer and takes in everything that is going on! She will readily jump into play time,
chasing after toys and tails alike, as long as it is not too rambunctious. Libby is ready to be
adopted into her forever home with a sibling or playmate. One that will welcome her into the
family and keep her safely indoors.
