Rescue:

This is how Luka came into our care: “My friend had this handsome cat wander into her home
on Sunday. She couldn’t keep him, and I told her that January wasn’t a great time to be letting
a cat back outside to “find it’s way home”. He had been loved up by her children, and they
named him Thunderbolt. She didn’t recognize this cat as one that strolled through the neighbourhood and they pretty well know them all because they love cats. He obviously had a
family at some point because he is too cuddly and relaxed to not have. He did not have a
collar on when he came into her house, but there is an indentation in his fur showing that he
did have one at some point. He is not neutered.” His handsome cat has been posted on
social media locally and with Lost Cat sites and no one has come forward to claim him. He is
lucky, being outside in the dead of winter, to have been able to find a home to take him in.

Personality:

This handsome, majestic boy is tall and long and quite agile. He makes himself at home
quickly and shows his affectionate towards people readily. He loves pets and cuddles, curling
up with you at any time. He is also active and enjoys chasing a ball or playing with cat dancer
toys and catnip mice. All round a nice cat. Luka has a relaxed personality and would do best
in a home with one other cat (one that isn’t intimidated by his size!) or a dog, or with children
12 and older. He is quite the boy. Luka is ready to be adopted into his forever home. One that
will welcome him into the family and keep him safely indoors.
