Rescue:

On New Year’s Eve, one of Pet Patrol’s volunteers and her roommate saw a tiny cat huddling in the corner of their parking lot. When Angel saw them, she darted and hid in the
bushes. The volunteer put food out under the porch, and Angel ran right to the dish when
she was alone and she thought no one was looking. Feeling for this poor little cat the
volunteer asked around the neighbourhood and posted her on social media, but no one
recognized her. Food was put out for her daily, but Angel disappeared for a while, during
the coldest part of winter like most animals living by their wits, she sought better shelter. A
few weeks later she reappeared, eating the food the volunteer put out for her, and meowing endlessly to get their attention. She was asking for help. The volunteer managed to
rescue her, as the snow started to fall again by, using a humane trap and brought her
immediately to Pet Patrol. Because Angel is communicative and petable we are quite sure
she was an indoor cat in the past.

Personality:

Angel is just that, a sweet angel, who wouldn’t hurt a fly. She is gentle, calm, grateful and
content. She is so happy to be indoors again and safe, as it must have been a terrifying
ordeal for her on the street, alone and unsure how to survive. While in our care she has
shown us how playful and fun loving she can be, seeking out toys that dangle or have
catnip in them. She loves to cuddle and purrs deeply as she kneads your lap or soft blanket, either on the couch or at bedtime, she is good company. Angel is ready to be adopted
into her forever home. One that will welcome her into the family and keep her safely indoors.
