Rescue:

Pet Patrol received a call from a woman who had been referred to Pet Patrol through friends.
She had a little orange and white kitty that she needed to find a cat rescue to take. The email
received says: Our family has taken in an emaciated kitten that was living on our property
through the winter. At first, we thought she might belong to a neighbour’s barn cats or something, but it became clear after a while that she was abandoned, but able to care for herself
through the cold winter. We have gotten her to a much better place now, but she has reached
maturity and is not spayed or vaccinated. We are wondering who we could call about having
Miss Meredith adopted or rehomed. I don’t know how well she would survive in the wild honestly and we don’t want anything to happen to her. She’s very sweet, a little uncertain, loves to
be petted and is now used to cat food and being indoors.

Personality:

Meredith has proven to be a very sweet and outgoing little cat. She is happy, she is gentle and
will make a wonderful companion for someone. It has been nice to see her easily adapt to the
sanctuary, sleep comfortably in the sunny window, explore the toys and cat climbers. She’s so
affectionate and loving, and she really likes to receive pets and cuddles. Not too sure about
being picked up at this point, but that will come with time and trust. Meredith is playful and fun,
loving and ready to be adopted into her forever home. One that will welcome her into the family
and keep her safely and doors.
