Rescue:
Ben is quite a handsome cat and showed how nice he is as soon as he was discovered.
He was first noticed a few times during the summer wandering around the country neighbourhood going from place to place. He never stayed anywhere very long. Then when a
big storm hit in February, he decided he had better find shelter and he stayed put. The
people who were caring for him, invited him to come into their garage for shelter and he
continue to thrive. Because the woman has three cats who also like to investigate the
garage it wasn’t going well. Ben was not neutered at the time, and the other felines took
offence to him being there. The woman had really taken a liking to Ben but felt that she
needed to find a good home for him sooner rather than later. Pet Patrol was called and
soon he was in our care
Personality:
Right from day one Ben showed us a loving and gentle side. He is great with the other cats
in the sanctuary and there were no issues with him integrating into the playroom with them.
He is lovely. Ben is playful and likes to investigate toys, catnip mice especially, wand toys
and the laser pen light. Basking in the sun or lying across you desk as you are working on
the computer are his favourite places to catch a cat nap. Easy to pick up and carry, Ben is
a good sized cat and is a good cuddle buddy. He is very social and good with new people,
new environments and is calm and easy going. This handsome boy is ready to be adopted
into his forever home. One that will welcome him into the family and keep him safely indoors.
