Rescue:

Weezer, his mom and little brother Grayson are sociable and affectionate cats who needed
new homes. Lizzy their mom, was originally found as a young stray cat and luckily rescued into
a home that loved her and she developed into a nice a family pet, but unfortunately was never
taken to the vet. She was allowed to be with unneutered males and as would happen she
became pregnant. The kittens were raised in the house and once weaned rehomed, but they
kept one kitten from the first litter, Weezer. Neither cat was vaccinated or spayed or neutered,
and once again Lizzy had a litter of kittens and the family kept one from that litter, they named
Grayson. Life changed for this family and Pet Patrol was not privy to the details, but the cat’s
owner asked a friend to look after them for a while. It was expected that it would only be for
about two months and then returned to the original owner. Unfortunately, they never came back
for them. Unable to keep them herself, although she was tempted, she already had cats of her
own, two dogs and four children it just wasn’t feasible. All three cats came into Pet Patrol care
and are now ready to find a forever home.

Personality:

This tall and long boy is adorable and has filled out nicely since arriving at the sanctuary quite
thin and gangly. Weezer is an observant cat who loves to spend his day watching birds out the
window, the traffic, people and wild life. He is gentle and affectionate and shows his gratitude
for a nice back rub with kneading paws and deep purrs of satisfaction. He doesn’t mind being
picked up and being a lap cat. Toys are a wonderful things for cats but we hear that Weezer is
more interested in being with his people, greeting them at the door, making sure everyone has
a bed check at night and cuddled up to at TV time. He is good with other cats, gentle dogs
and children. Weezer would like to be adopted with a buddy like his little brother Grayson. He
is ready for his forever home. One that will welcome him into the family and keep him safely
indoors.
