Rescue:

Ariel is a lovely little girl, and she has been treated with respect and kindness. But unfortunately, her life as a kitten started off with being given as a gift to a young man who was in
university. A surprise gift. With good intentions they felt that he was lonely and needed
something to keep him company. Meanwhile, he was busy with school and living with a
roommate. He fed her and looked after her, but she never went to the vet and was fed low
quality food. Shortly after graduating, the young man moved back to his home country. His
roommate was not in a situation to care for Ariel properly and take on the responsibility of a
pet. He liked her very much, but felt it was better for her to be rehomed. Ariel is adjusting
well to the sanctuary and gets along well with the other cats nicely

Personality:

She’s just been described as a pretty ballerina like cat, long and lean. She is playful, and
fun loving, taking to the toys here, chasing them around and anything that jingles or
bounced is fair game. She keeps her eagle eye on the wand toy, and jumps fairly high to
catch it. She is sweet and gentle, easy to pick up and cuddle, and will come to you to sit
on your lap or snuggle at bedtime. She has lived a loved life and we are seeking out a
devoted new home for her. Ariel is ready to be adopted into a forever home. One that will
welcome her into the family and keep her safely indoors.
