Rescue:
Pet Patrol received a phone call from someone who has been referred to us. They lived about
45 minutes away and there are no cat rescues in the area or city shelters. This lovely orange
and white boy sauntered onto their hobby farm property during a rainstorm. He made himself
known with his majestic stature and kind heart and was no trouble at all. but it was obvious
that he had been left on his own for quite some time. Quimby was a little underweight and his
coat was dirty and smelly, he may have actually met up with a skunk at one point. The family
has a variety of shop cats and they are all spayed or neutered but weren’t sure they wanted to
keep another cat, they felt he deserved a nice indoor home. He is a wonderful cat and soon
brought into our care.
Personality:
Quimbly is a tall, long and handsome boy who does not mind being picked up and cuddled.
He is definitely a people cat, liking to rub up against you and flop across your lap. He will often
sprawl out on the floor and grab your foot, in shoe or not, and rub his face all over it, never
nibbling just purring happily. When it comes to toys, he is all over them, especially with catnip
mice or the laser pen light. Watching out the window and basking in the sun is a wonderful
way of spending an afternoon, and then greeting you at the door and chatting about his day.
Quimbly is a lovely cat, ready to be adopted into his forever home. One that will welcome him
into the family and keep him safely indoors.
