Rescue:
Pet Patrol received a call from a woman who has been rescuing cats for many years. She is
now retired but still people contact her. In the case of four little kittens (Hooch being one of
them), their mom was very feral and not able to be socialized. Once the kittens were weaned
she was spayed and able to be released to a property that provided a warm place through the
winter, food and water throughout the year. The babies were a little nervous when they first
came into the woman’s home as they’d never had any boundaries in regard to windows,
doors, and ceilings. But with handling and cuddling, they did extremely well and socialized very
quickly in the woman’s responsible hands. From there at eight weeks of age they came into
Pet Patrol care and have done extremely well since then. They are all wonderful, lovely kid,
friendly cuddly cats .
Personality:
Hooch has the cutest little black freckle on his cheek, it’s his beauty mark. He is very sweet
and likes to watch everything going on around him and is always curious about checking
things out. He doesn’t miss much. Wrestling with any sibling is fun and passes the time, and it
also tires him out for a good long nap. Hooch is quite the passive little boy, cuddly and looking
for a person to cuddle up to, be carried and loved. He is ready to be adopted into his
forever home with a sibling or playmate. One that will welcome him into the family and keep
him safely indoors.
