Rescue:

Pet Patrol received a text message sent by a woman who has done fostering before. Often
she is taking in cats that friends have found and worked with them in her home until a cat
rescue is able to take them. This is the rescue story for Abby and Alex: “They are in a
dangerous spot. It is a rural backyard, and they sought refuge in the woodpile. Although
there is shelter there the wood becomes damp when it rains and holds that moisture creating
a not so healthy environment for the kittens. The yard is right beside a neighbour who
is in and out with heavy construction equipment and we fear for their safety.” The woman
not only rescued the kittens but also graciously fostered the kittens until Pet Patrol was
able to bring them into our care.

Personality:

These two will fill your heart and make you smile inside out. The innocence, playfulness
and over load of pure cuteness will instantly fill your heart. Abby is an adventurous, extremely
playful little girl. She will play with anything, including her own tail. Alex is a handsome
little man. He is always so playful, loves some pets and is very food motivated. They
chase each other around and provide hours of entertainment, always taking breaks to get
some pets. They both have roaring purrs and are getting a little better with being picked up
but that will come with time. Abby and Alex are social and doing well with new people and
other cats. They are ready to be adopted into their forever home one that will welcome
them into the family and keep them safely indoors
