Rescue:

Pet Patrol received a message from a smaller cat rescue organization about pretty Dina. She
was in a loving home, she had been there since she was a tiny kitten, she was cared for and
appreciated…so why were her owners reaching out to re home her? Since Covid really turned
the world upside down and people struggled to make ends meet, recovery from three years of
stress and limited income has caught up with some people. Dina’s owners were unable to
stay in their apartment, living independently, and were moving in with family. Dina was not
welcomed. We are unsure if there were other pets in the house, allergies or just a no pet
restriction but everyone was saddened by the change. Dina was taken to the smaller cat
rescue and once we had space, brought into our care. She has been a delight and has easily
adjusted to each change in her life.

Personality:

Dina is adorable. She is tall and long, has a beautiful coat and purrs like a dream. She loves
to play with anything she can chase, she is active and agile liking the kitty climber and the top
perch. Like all cats she is interested in what is happening outside and is content in the afternoon
to enjoy the sun streaming in the window and watching the birds or traffic outside. Easy
to pick up and carry, Dina will seek out her people for cuddles and company. She sleeps on
the bed, partakes in movie night and will curl up in her cat bed on your desk as you work. She
is adorable. Dina is ready to be adopted into her forever home. One that will welcome her
into the family and keep her safely indoors.
