Rescue:

Imani and Indi are brothers and were rescued from the same location a few days apart. The
first one to come into our care is Imani because he had an injury to his left eye and was in
need of immediate vet care. This little baby was noticed running through the side yard if a
large property, darting in and out of the long grass with his sibling. He was very timid and
skittish and he had no vision in that eye. He weighed less than two pounds and found himself
defenceless out in the big wide world. A volunteer who was there to rescue another cat had
noticed the kitten and was determined to secure his future in a safe and loving home. She was
there is helping the property owner by having the colony of cats spayed or neutered. This is the
only way to have a healthy colony and control the overpopulation of cats. Soon Imani was
brought into to Pet Patrol care, and his eye treated and just a short while later Indi was happily
reunited with his brother..

Personality:

Imani is a very affectionate little guy with a powerful purr. He’s happy to be held and to nap
splayed over a friendly person. He is a go-getter whose missing eye doesn’t slow him down in
the slightest and he delights in games of tag and wrestling matches with his brother Indi, and
chases toys around the house. When he’s ready for playtime, it means his brother’s nap is
over. Indi is a happy kitten and likes to be held and snuggled. He’s good for belly rubs and
long afternoon naps and once he gets into snuggle mode, Indy becomes a purr machine and
will nuzzle and headbutt if you ease off on pats too soon. These adorable brothers are ready
to be adopted into their forever home together. One that will welcome them into the family and
keep them safely indoors..
