Rescue:

On the outskirts of a small, rural town, cats are often abandoned needlessly. We think this is
what happened to this sweet orange boy. A cat-loving couple noticed this skinny and dirty cat
around their property, they were able to pet him showing that he is used to being around people. They also noticed that one of his front legs looked like it had met a predator’s teeth. They
treated the cuts and gashes with ointment but they knew the outdoors was not going to be safe
for him and he needed to be rescued. They set up a cat carrier with some blankets and irresistible wet food inside, and the cat, who they named Reggie, walked right in. By this time
they had secured a spot for him with Pet Patrol and the next day he was taken to the vet to
have his wounds addressed (which have since healed up beautifully). Once safely inside
Reggie had a lot to say, and showed that he appreciated pets and neck rubs by breaking into
deep, rumbling purrs.

Personality:

Reggie is a great cat. He is super social and loves to be around people, He heavily head
butts you for attention and affection and purrs deeply with satisfaction. He is a lap cat, easy to
pick up and carry and wants to be with his people. Bedtime, movie night, a kitty bed by the
computer, he is all in for spending his nap time near you. He is good with every one who
comes to visit him. Reggie is exploring toys and takes them on with excitement. The laser
pen light really gets him in a chase mode, as does the wand toy and balls that crinkle. Reggie
is ready to be adopted into his forever home. One that will welcome him into the family and
keep him safely indoors
