Rescue:

A woman contacted Pet Patrol, a little nervous and unsure as to what to do with the young
disheveled cat that she found. She was alerted to him by her elderly mother who lives in a small
town, which is surrounded by fields, barns and country properties. This was Moser. He was
first noticed in her yard, basking in the sun and taking refuge under shrubs. He seemed a bit
cautious and confused. In this yard there is a shed beside the garage and he was noticed
poking his little head out from under it indicating that he had found a safe place to hide from
predators and the weather, but he couldn’t stay there. That is when the daughter was called to
come and rescue him. He came right out to her when she arrived and called out to him,
purring deeply and so very happy to have attention and affection from someone. Where did
he come from? Sometimes the children at farms are good to the cats and handle them and
socialize them, but the barns were so far away the woman couldn’t image him traveling that far
on his own. Soon afterwards he came into Pet Patrol care.

Personality:

Moser is a muscular cat who is gentle and easy going. He is interested in all you do and likes
to be held on your lap or laying next to you on the couch. While at the sanctuary he discovered
toys and is thrilled to have a crinkly toy that he can chew and kick box at while laying on the
floor. Anything with catnip is just the greatest and he is a determined hunter when the laser
pen light comes out. Moser is a real character and shows his affectionate personality to
everyone. Greeting you at the door is his duty it seems, and he will rub up against your legs
and purr deeply. Such a wonderful cat. Moser is ready to be adopted into his forever home.
One that will welcome him into the family and keep him safely indoors. .
