Rescue:
This boy, Swayze, just showed up one day at a country property. Just out of the blue. He
seemed to be thin and there was a mild eye infection that if not treated could result in vision
issues or loss. His rescuer : “So we don’t think that he was out for very long but long enough
that he needed to wander around and try to find help. He walked right up to me and my friend
and showed how friendly he was. When we reached down to pet him he flopped over and
showed his belly. What a lovely boy. I already have a lot of pets and not having the ability
afford medical care for him, or to have him neutered, I am hoping you can take him in. Swayze
soon came into our care and showed us what a nice, patient and polite boy he is.
Personality:
Fitting into the sanctuary with the other cats was a breeze for Swayze. He is pretty chill and
will cuddle with you for long periods of time, but also likes to play. He is quite interested in the
cat tree and looking outside to see what is going on. Watching the wild life and the traffic
equally, enjoying the sun streaming in and stretching out for a nap on the wide windowsill will
occupy a few hours in the afternoon. Swayze will greet you at the door, is easy to pick up and
carry and is good company. He is such a good boy and ready to be adopted into his forever
home. One that will welcome him into the family and keep him safely indoors.
