Rescue:

Sweet little Tonio showed up at a country property out of the blue. The weather was scorching
hot and there was no relief from the heat in the shade and no water or food to be found. No
one really knows where he came from but because he was so friendly and so sweet, easy to
pick up and carry they knew that he had been an owned cat before and probably dumped. He
was a little underweight because at his young age he did not know how to hunt and fend for
himself. Upon examining him it was discovered that he had a large wound behind his ear, and
it was very sore and badly infected by the time he was brought into a Pet Patrol‘s care. All is
good now and his health has improved greatly. Where did this little guy come from we have to
wonder?

Personality:

Tonio has taken full advantage of the toys, tunnels, and cat trees in the sanctuary playroom and
he’s great with all the other cats. He’s an adorable boy. He is often found in the arms of a
volunteer as they walk around, checking on everyone else, purring happily and is easily enticed to stretch out for a belly rub as well. Tonio is a good looking boy who enjoys the attention
from everyone, is calm and easy going except when he hears the vacuum or other loud scary
noises. He will greet you at the door and sit on your lap, he will definitely be a nice snuggle
bunny at bedtime. Tonio is ready to be adopted into his forever home. one that will welcome
him into the family and keep him safely indoors.
