Rescue:

Told by his rescuers: Monkey was found by our neighbours one stormy night. He was alone,
very wet and definitely hungry. There are quite a few outdoor cats in our neighbourhood, and
our back deck is a favourite place for them to find shelter, sadly for Monkey they would not let
him join them and unbeknownst to us he was forced to ride out the storm in the open all night.
The next day he was at our door asking for both food and affection, and he was brought inside. He quickly built bonds with humans and has never looked back. He joined two friendly
kittens (Moonshine and MacNcheese) who we had rescued earlier and the three stayed close
to each other. Monkey has shown that love and affection is more important to him than anything else

Personality:

From his rescuer: “Monkey is a very affectionate kitten who found our backyard, together with
two other kittens (MacNcheese and Moonshine) when he was 3 months old. He was looking
for love, attention and shelter and immediately found what he was looking for. He is very quick
to crawl onto your lap and snuggle into your arms but also is active and playful and loves to
play and chase ribbons and toys on strings. Monkey would love to be part of a home where
there is time to play with people and spend time snuggling on the couch”. He is ready to be
adopted into his forever home. One that will welcome him into the family and keep him
safely indoors
