Rescue:

Told by his rescuers: Moonshine was part of a litter that was found under our back garden
deck. The mother was a feral cat that roamed the neighbourhood frequently. The father was a
tabby cat that lived outside at our neighbour’s house, and he arrived when the barn behind our
home was torn down in the fall. Moonshine’s four siblings were recused during the heat of the
summer when they were quite young and were soon all adopted. However, Moonshine was
nowhere in sight when the siblings were brought into care and he disappeared with his
mother. Fast forward two months and this little guy showed up at our place alone and quickly
formed bonds with two other kittens that had also found our deck. All three were rescued,
brought indoors and have thrived since then.

Personality:

“Moonshine found our backyard when he was three months old. He loves to watch the other
kittens and keeps a close eye on everything happening in the room. He enjoys getting his
head scratched along with his cheeks and neck. He also has fun climbing up high and observing everything. He would excel in a home where there are cat trees, spots to climb and
perches where he can see everything going on. He thrives on attention from his people, and
ready and willing for a snuggle and pet. This cute kitten is ready to be adopted with a buddy
or sibling into his forever home. One that will welcome him into the family and keep him safely
indoors.
