Rescue:
Pet Patrol reached out to a smaller cat rescue organization in regards to a little kitten that
needed to be bottle fed. She was doing ok but needed the expertise of one of their volunteers
to make sure all was well and she was thriving. That wee kitten was placed in her foster home
with another baby named Willie, so that she would have a playmate and companion. This little
guy came into their care when he was found all alone at a farm. His mother was nowhere in
sight and after waiting a while for her to return and realizing she wasn’t going to appear, the
farmer called the local cat rescue to help care for him. Willie was welcomed into our care and
has easily found friends with other kittens in the sanctuary and now at his dedicated foster
home as well.
Personality:
Willie is a wonderful little cat who loves everyone and is not shy about greeting new people and
new cats. He will follow his people around to be picked up, cuddled and not afraid to climb up
on your lap for a belly rub and back massage. He has a little friend, Petal, that he has grown
up with and the two of them have created games together, nap together and groom each other.
It is very cute to see them wrestle and run around, taking in all the toys in the playroom of the
sanctuary, especially the climbers and kitty tunnels. Willie is a good little guy who is ready to
be adopted into his forever home. One that will welcome him into the family and keep him
safely indoors.
