Rescue:
Pet Patrol received a voice message from a woman who is extremely concerned about two of
the cats that she had on her farm. She lived with her parents and one day she went out and
found a very emaciated flea infested little cat named Riley, laying flat out on the grass. She
thought at first she was dead, because she just seem to be nothing but bones and fluff, and
was not moving. Barely breathing. By touching her the cat lifted her head and the woman knew
immediately she could be saved and took her to the vet. As soon as she was put on IV fluids
little Riley perked right up and started eating. From the clinic she was fostered by a vet tech
who helped Riley recover beautifully. Here she is today a happy, healthy cat who loves life and
is so grateful to be rescued. When she came to Pet Patrol her buddy Gabby was brought
along. The two are not related, but do get along quite well.
Personality:
Riley is extremely loving and affectionate. She is very happy to be in your arms, carried around
and so appreciative of everything that she has. A warm place to live, fresh food, and water,
toys to play with and people to dote on her. What more could you want. It is unknown where
she originally came from as cats will roam from farm to farm, but Riley was not prepared for
that journey so we have to think she was abandoned. How far had she traveled? Riley is now
ready to be adopted into her forever home. One that will welcome her into the family and keep
her safely indoors.
