Rescue:

There was a colony of cats who were found behind a landfill site in town. The colony had been
cared for there by the staff, feeding them daily and even providing insulated cat houses for
them. The nice thing was they were all friendly, but the sad thing was is the colony was growing. A company memo was sent out, saying that they had consulted with the city shelter who
said to stop feeding the cats. That is just wrong. Rescuing them is the answer. Coyotes are
running through the area often and sometimes within 10 feet of our volunteers. They definitely
had caused many of the cats to disappear. The colony cats names all start with the letter K,
and this includes Kitta and Kedi. Our volunteers and the woman who was feeding the cats
were braving the elements daily to ensure this colony was looked after and brought into care.

Personality:

These kittens are loving the indoor cat life at their foster home. They are sweet young cats with
big purrs as soon as you start petting them. They love to climb, wrestle and play with anything that bounces, rolls or is fuzzy. The laser light keeps them entertained and they are determined to get that red dot. Kitta is quite active and runs around, hides
and then surprising everyone with a pounce. She is chatty and will meow for attention and
food. Kedi is a happy little guy as well, who is just as
active as his sister, and loves to chase her all through the house playing tag. The wire dancer is his go to toy that he will play with and drag around the house. He loves to cuddle on your lap for a nap. They do everything together, including cuddling up to sleep, or looking for adventure. They have lots of cat friends in their foster home and get along with them all, and they don’t mind the dog and would do well with a gentle one. They enjoy being held and having their bellies rubbed. Kitta and Kedi are ready to be adopted into their forever
home. One that will welcome them into the family and keep them safely indoors.
