Rescue:

Rigby just showed up one day at a country property that feeds cats in their area. Pet Patrol
has taken in quite a few of these cats, as the family is doing their best to keep up with spaying
and neutering the felines to keep their colony population low. Initially they had about ten cats
living in their heated shop, and when kittens were born they brought them into the house to
raise them to be people friendly and be safe. Then the little family of felines came into Pet
Patrol care for adoption, the moms spayed and if feral returned. This has been successful for
the past two years, and now Rigby and another boy, Ryder arrived at their door, hungry and in
poor shape. Being friendly and affectionate, the boys came into our care, have gained weight
and are now ready to be adopted.

Personality:

Rigby is a favourite at the sanctuary. He has a sweet meow, is gentle and loving and just a
nice little cat. He came from rough beginnings but that has not hampered him from showing
people that he is appreciative of the care and love he has received since his rescue. Rigby is
easy to pick up and carry, he likes his people and once he becomes comfortable with you he
is a lap cat and wants to keep you company. He has had no problem integrating in with the
other cats at the sanctuary and in quite intrigued by the toys and big windows. Definitely a
neighbourhood watch cat. Rigby is ready to be adopted into his forever home. One that will
welcome him into the family and keep him safely indoors.
