Rescue:
Poor Neisha…where ever did she come from to end up in such a sad situation? Pet Patrol received a message from a woman who does cat rescue in her rural town. She takes in cats here and there, makes sure they recover from their ordeals and finds homes for them. When she heard about Neisha she knew this girl needed to be brought inside immediately because no one else would, but she didn’t have any room. She had read a message on social media about a black and white cat who had taken up shelter under their barbecue cover. It was winter, cold, wet and snowy. Sadly that is where she gave birth to two kittens and with the temperatures dipping under zero, and their only bed was a metal shelf, the babies did not survive. Thinking she may give birth to more, the people who found her were seeking help but refused to bring Neisha inside to safety. Soon she was brought into Pet Patrol care and onto the vet. No more kittens were born.
Personality:
Such a little cat with such a sweet personality. Neisha was unsure when she arrived at the sanctuary. There were a lot of different volunteers coming daily to help take care of the cats, and there are a lot of different cats here too. But once she caught onto the routine, she was comfortable coming out of her kitty condo and being part of everything. We have observed her being picked up and cuddled by people, grooming herself in a nice warm sunbeam and best of all playing with toys. Something she may not have had a chance to do before. Neisha is ready to be adopted into her forever home. One that will welcome her into the family and keep her safely indoors.
