Rescue:

Pet Patrol received a message from a woman who lives up north and owns several farm
properties. She rents out the houses and barns, and even the fields to other farms, people
who board horses and others that just want to live in the country. Every barn needs cats to
keep down the rodent population that flock to the grain fed to chickens, and they find shelter
amongst the bales of hay or in walls and ceilings. Cats like to have a job and mousing is
quite enticing to them. One day Murray showed up at one of the farms that houses
cows and pigs and he just stayed. He was friendly and affectionate from the minute he
found the first human and was able to be picked up and carried. Just an all round a nice
cat. Too nice to live his life on a farm. He would prefer a home where he can cuddle up to
people and settle in. Soon he was on his way to Pet Patrol and he has fit into his foster
home well.

Personality:

Murray is such a sweetheart. He is young and bright, interested in all the toys and takes full
advantage of them. He is happy to play with other cats or with his person with the wand
toy or chasing after a toy that rolls or bounces. He is easy to pick up and cuddle, will crawl
into your lap and purrs happily. At the sanctuary he has a lot of friends and is not shy
about starting to gently play with them. He is quite intrigued by what is going on outside,
from the safely of the wide window ledge and enjoys catching a few rays from the sun
streaming in. Murray is a happy go lucky little guy ready to be adopted into his forever
home. One that will welcome him into the family and keep him safely indoors.
