Rescue:

Daisy’s rescuers tell the story of sitting on the porch of their country home and they heard a
car drive away. When they looked, a very pregnant Daisy was standing in the middle of
their driveway, and she started to head for their house. The people knew that Daisy would
need a safe place to have her kittens, so they tried to introduce her to their barn, but Daisy
didn’t want the barn! She kept coming to the front porch. Daisy was so friendly, the people
assumed that she had come from a family home and that is what she wanted again. They
provided a safe haven for her in the sunroom, and soon, she had five healthy kittens. The
family was very attentive to them, cuddling, carrying and socializing all five kittens. Four of
the kittens came into Pet Patrol at the end of last year. Daisy and her daughter, Missy,
remained in their rescued home as the people had hoped to find a home for them. However, as time went on, it appeared that it would be better for them to come to Pet Patrol to
be spayed and find forever homes.

Personality:

Missy is a beautiful, long-haired black kitten who loves to play. She’s definitely a contender
for the Kitty-Olympics with her wand toy high-jumping skills and her sprints around the
house, chasing her foster sister. After all that exercise, Missy’s favourite spot is on the top
of the cat tree, soaking up the sunshine. She is starting to appreciate pick-up snuggles, but
she would much rather you give her scratches and pets with both hands on her silky fur.
Once she’s really comfortable with you, Missy will happily roll on her belly if you’re giving
her scratches. Missy would love to have another kitty friend to play with.
