Rescue:

Little Joey was born outside to a feral mom but once brought inside he excelled. It didn’t
take him long to realize this was luxury and he became very social in a very short period of
time. The couple were retired and they had five cats of their own, but they welcomed him
into their home as part of the family friendly colony. Sadly though, young Joey proved to be
too much for them. He loves to race around and play and tumble, but the other cats were
having no part of it so this poor little guy was becoming frustrated. It was obvious that this
was not a good fit but the couple had never had to give up a pet before, it was quite difficult
and emotional. They realized thought that it was the best thing for Joey. He needs a place,
a wonderful home where he can have a playmate to keep him busy and entertained.

Personality:

Joey loves his toys to play with and to race around after things that are dragged across the
floor, shoe laces and the dangling wand toy are quite entertaining. He has had fun at the
sanctuary meeting the other cats and watching their antics, often joining in on games of
chase and catch the bouncing ball. He is a happy kitty over all and easy to pick up and
cuddle. The view from the big windows looking out onto fields and the road keep him
interested and laying in the warmth of the sunbeam is the best place to nap. Joey is ready
to be adopted into his forever home. One that will welcome him into the family and keep
him safely indoors.
