Rescue:

It was the middle of summer, and the heat was just beating down on the small farm where
people came and went. They seemed to notice the cats there and then quickly looked
away because they were all sick in some way. Not many cats live to maturity there. The
farm is known as the lice farm because all of the animals are covered in this icky bug.
Neglect, can be a strong word, but it’s very appropriate for the situation. The cats were fed
the lowest quality cat food and that leads to mouths full of rotten teeth. Landis, sweet and
affectionate is now toothless but a healthy and happy cat. In all Pet Patrol rescued nine
cats, five being kittens, and they have all thrived after a few health issues were successfully addressed. They lived happily at the sanctuary or in foster homes and are now in their
forever homes. Now it is Landis’ turn to find his own family.

Personality:

This action packed kitty is small in size for a boy cat, and that is due to malnutrition while
living at the farm, and he will not get any bigger. He does need an active kitty to play with
though or he will be bored, as he likes to race around starting the Indy 500 race in the
sanctuary. He is such a sweet and loving cat, likes his people and other cats. Landis cat
be easily picked up, likes to be cuddled and can be cradled like a baby. Adorable. He is a
favorite with our volunteers. Landis is ready to be adopted into his forever home. One
that will welcome him into the family and keep him safely indoors.
