Rescue:
Oreo and Willow lived in a home with a young man for their entire life: I adopted Oreo after
he was born into a litter of kittens to my neighbors cat. He lived in our basement for the
first seven months of his life because we had a dog, and he did not feel safe around it. We
re homed the dog and Oreo has had full run of my home, with Willow, since then. My
sister found a kitten (Willow) and she and Oreo have become quite bonded. Soon after
that my sister brought her newborn baby home. The cats were not fans and now they live
with just me and everyone seems happy. However, I am unable to afford to live independently any longer and I’m moving in with family. The cats cannot come with me. So I turned
to Pet Patrol to help find them a new home.
Personality:
As you can see from the story above, Oreo is not good with dogs or young children. Just
not his thing. He likes to cuddle and stretch out napping beside you or hog the bed. He is
friendly and playful, favoring the laser pointer, spring toys and crinkle balls. Both are fans
of watching the neighborhood from the safety of the window sill, smelling the fresh air
through the screen and having the best afternoon nap in the sun beam. They really like
each other and can be found playing together, chasing toys or creating games of Chase
and Peek a Boo out of cardboard boxes. Oreo and Willow are ready to be adopted into
their forever home. One that will welcome them into the family and keep them safely indoors.
