Rescue:
Dot’s mom, Daisy, is a sweet classic brown tabby who found a good friend in a lovely older
man. She was able to find shelter in his heated shed, which was a very good thing, because she was very pregnant! The man’s sister was a bit concerned about Daisy having
her kittens in the shed. It was warm, but it was also crowded with lots of storage and garbage. A plan was put into place to move Daisy indoors before her kittens arrived – but
surprise! Right before she was to be moved, Daisy gave birth to six kittens. The man didn’t
want to keep all of them, so into a carrier they went for the drive to Pet Patrol. On the way
to the sanctuary, Daisy discovered that the latch to the carrier was not secure, and she
preferred the passenger seat for the journey! She calmly started moving her kittens, Diamond, Dusty, Davey, Dina, Disco and Dot to the front passenger seat, and there they nestled together until they arrived at Pet Patrol.
Personality:
Dot is the boldest of the litter and the first to explore new places, first to meet the dog, first
to bound out of her kitty enclosure. This little girl is always in motion: chasing siblings,
playing with mom’s tail, climbing into new spaces and is not bothered by the passive resident dog or cat or shy around new people. All round, she is a pretty busy but loving kitten
who is ready to be adopted into her forever home with a playmate or sibling. One that will
welcome her into the family and keep her safely indoors.
