Rescue:
As told by their foster mom: These four little kittens were rescued by my young daughter and
son who found them when visiting their Grandfather’s farm. The mother cat was new to the
property, and the farmer had booked her in to be fixed, but found out from the vet that she was
already pregnant. The four kittens ( Kitkat, Katie, King and Kandance) were born in the barn
and the children visited them often to play with them and make sure they were tame. When the
kittens were old enough and eating solid food, our family took them into our home to tame
them further. The mother cat was then able to be taken in to get her spay surgery. The kittens
have quickly adapted to life in our house, and all the attention from three children and the other
animals (2 labs, and 2 mature tabby cats) in our home.
Personality:
Kandace is affectionate and enjoys a nice lengthy snuggle with her siblings or people. She is
all about the love. This little one was the first kitten of her litter to purr when her foster first took
this feline family home. She seems to have a particular way that she likes to be petted and
held – thus learning what this baby cat likes. As a playful girl she moves fast and is very agile
as she jumps around objects on the floor, not distracted by other activities, scales the kitty
climber and proudly stands at the top. She is fun and active, playful and sweet. Kandiace is
ready to be adopted into her forever home. One that will welcome her into the family and keep
her safely indoors.
