Rescue:

A woman who runs a small cat rescue was made aware of a mother cat (Penelope) that
showed up on a property. The people claimed that she was a feral mom, could not be touched
and would run from them all the time. As would happen with every female cat who has not
been altered she had a litter of kittens. They found homes for them and again they did not have
her fixed so she had a second litter of kittens this time there were a few more. And now they
called the local cat rescue about the third litter. The mother cat and her kittens all arrived at Pet
Patrol, clean and healthy and exceptionally friendly, including the mom. So the true story as to
how she arrived at this property is unknown as it is rural and cats arrive on a regular basis
from other farms or from being abandoned. Penelope is very happy to have a safe and secure place to raise her kittens

Personality:

Poppy may be the smallest in her litter, but she has the biggest heart filled with sweetness and
affection. This gentle girl is a bit shy at first, but once she warms up to you, she’ll shower you
with love and the most delightful purrs you’ve ever heard. Poppy’s favorite pastime is cuddling
up close for some quality snuggle time, she adores gentle strokes and being cradled in loving
arms, where she feels safest and happiest. This little one’s affectionate nature shines through,
making her an incredibly rewarding companion. If you’re seeking a gentle soul to share quiet
moments and cozy cuddles with, Poppy is the perfect match for you. Her loving purrs and
tender heart will melt away any stress and bring warmth to your home. She is ready to be
adopted into her forever home with a playmate or sibling. One that will welcome her into the
family and keep her safely indoors.
