Rescue:

The woman who runs a cat Rescue out of another large city, called and said that the husband
of one of her volunteers had found two little kittens in a dumpster. It was at his workplace close
to the sanctuary and she wondered if we would take them. Of course. He said that when he
had arrived to work, he had heard some noises and mews coming from the dumpster and
looked in finding two little kittens. Knowing they needed to be rescued, he did not hesitate and
then searched the dumpster thoroughly to make sure that there were no more kittens. They
were so scared. Who would do such a thing?! They were covered in muck and grime from the
dumpster, which is full of bacteria and nasty things babies should not be exposed to. Quickly
he brought them into the lunch room and made them comfortable in a warm blanket and fed
them. When they arrived at Pet Patrol they definitely needed a sink shower and they very
passively accepted it. Although scared, they relaxed once clean and their bellies were full.

Personality:

You’re kitten me with all this cuteness! Ranger (grey striped fur) and Rocky (black fur) are
siblings. They were found together abandoned, and have a very strong bond to each other.
When nobody is watching they wrestle and cuddle, and have become a very playful pair creating games together and calling out if one is not in sight. They are naturally shy from their humble beginnings, and they will require patience as they are loved by their trusted human(s) but
will become confident cats as they settle into their new home. Both Ranger and Rocky get
along well with other cats, as they snuggle and allow the other foster cat to groom them. Like
all kittens they are active and adventurous when it comes to toys and not many are left untested. These two precious brothers will help make a family very happy with their company.
Ranger and Rocky are ready to be adopted together into their forever home. One that will
welcome them into the family and keep them safely indoors.
