Rescue:

A family that lives in a small town just outside of the city, were at a popular park with their
children. There was a baseball tournament going on and while taking a break from watching
the game Molly was found. She was cowering along the huge chain link fence that surrounds
the park and she was in direct line of sight of many people. No one stopped to see how she
was, no one approached her and everyone walked away. One woman couldn’t just leave this
little cat alone in the park. As people filed away from the baseball diamond and to their cars,
she went over to investigate. Molly was scared and her little mew just tugged at the woman’s
heart and she gentle picked the kitty up, Molly did not protest and has been forever grateful.
She was taken into the woman’s home to be cared for until she can be adopted.

Personality:

As told by her rescuer/foster home: “This is Molly. We found her in a field looking starved. We
brought her home and after she slept for 24 hours, ate, and used her litter box, all she wanted
to do was snuggle and get pets. She loves attention. Even from our other cats and our little
dog. Once recovered from her ordeal she showed us how she plays with the cat toys, especially the little springs that bounce around. She will carry them around and hide them from the
other kitties. The laser pointer is also a favourite and when needing to rest she chooses the
window seat. Molly lets me and our three children pick her up and give her lots of kisses. She
doesn’t always like the face squishes but she tolerates them. This pretty calico is very good at
using the scratching posts I have for all the cats and is starting to know she is not allowed on the
table and counters. Ms Molly will make a great addition to any family. She is fun and sweet
and patient. She is the most beautiful kitten I have ever seen.” Molly is ready to be adopted into her forever home and kept safely indoors.
