Rescue:

Paddington was born to a pretty cat (Petina) who was discovered on a farm property with her
sister (Prita), when they were just kittens. They quickly became social and were adopted into
a family home who had other pets as well. Fast forward two years and the people called Pet
Patrol saying they were selling and moving out of province to be closer to family. Things were
just not working out for them here and the cats had to go – today. There was a ten minute
texting conversation with arrangements for the cats to come to the sanctuary and then silence.
Then the message “I have dropped them off at the local city shelter”. ? That didn’t make much
sense but by the end of the day both cats were in our care but surprisingly one had a litter of
three kittens, and the sister gave birth within 5 days to four babies. They are all happy, healthy
and confident.

Personality:

Paddington is a cute fluffy kitten who is ready to cuddle! He is comfortable being handled by
children and happy to be carried around. His loud purr can always be heard, and brings a lot
of happiness to anyone spending time with him. He is quite active and likes to play with his
siblings, and they will often play hide-and-seek in boxes, jumping out to surprise each other.
Paddington would be a great addition to a family home. He is ready to be adopted with a
sibling or playmate into his forever home. One that will welcome him into the family and keep
him safely indoors .
