Rescue:

Pikachu was born to a pretty cat (Petina) who was discovered on a farm property with her
sister (Prita), when they were just kittens. They quickly became social and were adopted into
a family home who had other pets as well. Fast forward two years and the people called Pet
Patrol saying they were selling and moving out of province to be closer to family. Things were
just not working out for them here and the cats had to go – today. There was a ten minute
texting conversation with arrangements for the cats to come to the sanctuary and then silence.
Then the message “I have dropped them off at the local city shelter”. ? That didn’t make much
sense but by the end of the day both cats were in our care but surprisingly one had a litter of
three kittens, and the sister gave birth within 5 days to four babies. They are all happy, healthy
and confident.

Personality:

Pikachu is a cute little kitten who loves to explore, check out what and who is new. He joins in
on The Great Kitten Chase with his siblings, and they will have wild games of tag running
around the room. He is always interested in toys – it doesn’t matter what it is, he will play with
it! When he is tired of playing, he will curl up with one of his siblings or caregivers and snuggle. He is an easygoing kitten who would do well in a home with another kitten to play with!
Pikachu is ready to be adopted into a forever home with a sibling or playmate. One that will
welcome him into the family and keep him safely indoors.
