Rescue:

Piper was born to a pretty cat (Prita) who was discovered on a farm property with her sister
(Petina), when they were just kittens. They quickly became social and were adopted into a
family home who had other pets as well. Fast forward two years and the people called Pet
Patrol saying they were selling and moving out of province to be closer to family. Things were
just not working out for them here and the cats had to go – today. There was a ten minute
texting conversation with arrangements for the cats to come to the sanctuary and then silence.
Then the message “I have dropped them off at the local city shelter”. ? That didn’t make much
sense but by the end of the day both cats were in our care but surprisingly one had a litter of
three kittens, and the sister gave birth within 5 days to four babies. They are all happy, healthy
and confident

Personality:

Piper is a sweet and gentle kitten who loves people. She is becoming an expert at climbing in
boxes, on cat trees and has really enjoyed the kitty tunnel. She is content to be carried
around, often being cradled by the gentle children in the home. When she is tired of playing,
she will curl up in a cute bundle of fluff. Piper is an easygoing kitten who would do well in a
family home. She’s ready to be adopted into her forever home with a sibling or playmate. One
that will welcome her into the family and keep her safely indoors.
