Rescue:
Pet Patrol sanctuary is located in the country surrounded by properties where people do
things the traditional way. A farming community where horses rule over tractors and cars. We
received a call from one of the young girls who said that they have too many cats on their
property. They don’t mind a few, but there’s just too many. Apparently this lovely orange and
white female cat showed up in their barn and her name was Jayla. Soon afterwards she had
five little kittens and they wanted to make sure that they would have proper homes to go to.
Soon after that a small horse and buggy showed up in the driveway and two girls pulled out a
yellow chicken box from the back. Inside were the five kittens and their mom Jayla. They all
were easy to pick up and cuddle, and now were on their way to a carefree life
Personality:
We were quite surprised when Jacobi came out of the carrier after being rescued. He’s not a
very big cat at all. Muscular and athletic he is a nice sized compact kitty who doesn’t mind
being picked up and cuddled. He is a sweet boy and will lay on your lap and keep you company at bedtime, greet you at the door and is interested in all you do. This is a boy who is
good with other cats, not aggressive and is living the carefree indoor life. Toys are still a bit of
a mystery to him, but catnip is just the best thing ever! Jacobi is pretty awesome and ready to
be adopted into his forever home. One that will welcome him into the family and keep him
safely indoors
