Rescue:
A woman who runs a small cat rescue in a small town was notified about this little guy,
O’Malley. He was very, very small, under 2 pounds, and was noticed running between two
houses and also crossing the road in the middle of the town. He’s no bigger than a mouse!
People in the area try to help the street cats by feeding them and getting them spayed or
neutered to reduce the number of kittens being born every year. But this little fluffy boy appeared out of nowhere. People decided to reach out for help in rescuing him and then set up
food in a large dog cage and waited for him to go in. It didn’t take very long. He was quite
hungry. O’Malley is now safe in Pet Patrol care.
Personality:
O’Malley is soft, cuddly, and purrs as soon as you pick him up and cradle him. He is full of
affection and will meow, calling out to any human to pick him up so he can sleep on you and
purr loudly. This little guy loves to play with feathers and is quite the character initiating the
kitten Indy 500 zooming around the house and jumping high and pouncing on anything he can.
Games of chase are detoured by a toy and then he is found carrying it around in his mouth.
Being around people and other cats is important to O’Malley and he would love to be adopted
with another cat. O’Malley is the sweetest boy and ready to be adopted into his forever home
with a buddy. One that will welcome him into the family and keep him safely indoors.
