Rescue:
When city subdivisions are developed, it means that farmland is bulldozed, including the barn
where the cats have lived and now they find themselves homeless. When the dust is settled
and the homes are built they find refuge under decks, in sheds and carports. Food is scavenged and they wish for a kind soul to start feeding them. Hope upon hope is that they are
rescued and adopted into a home. This is the lineage of Muffin and her four kittens (Madiera,
Manello, Mataya and Mochi). One woman, who has spayed or neutered at least 30 cats in this
neighbourhood, took a shine to Muffin who was the most social. However, she didn’t have her
spayed and one day she was carrying one of her babies in her mouth. She jumped up on the
patio chair and crawled underneath the blanket and placed her baby there, then moved the
other three kittens into the cozy cave. Soon after muffin and her babies came into Pet Patrol
care where they proved to be lovely chubby kittens and Muffin is completely adorable
Personality:
This sweet ball of fluff kitten and his siblings have been well taken care of and are your usual
active baby cats – play, sleep and then start the cycle again. There isn’t a toy they have not
tested and they put the Energize Bunny to shame. Springs, ping pong balls and the laser pen
light, racing up the stairs and diving in their tunnel. All four are curious and follow you around
with interest and greet you at the door. They supervise making the bed, haven’t quite mastered it yet, but an ‘E’ for effort. Manello seeks out his siblings for comfort and play. This cute
kitty is ready to be adopted with a sibling or playmate into a forever home. One that will welcome them into the family and keep them safely indoors
