Rescue:

Little tiny Sofie was nicknamed, hurricane Hazel, by the people who rescued her as there
were warnings of the severe weather change when she was found. We’re not sure how she
got there, but she was found at a cat food manufacturing plant in a small town. Big trucks,
forklifts, and people moving big bins back-and-forth didn’t notice this little one until someone
looked into the food bin. This is where the food has been packaged and the bags are piled
high. If someone hadn’t heard her mews, she would’ve been transported to a different location
or crushed if the packages have shifted. There were no other kittens to be found and no
momma cat was ever noticed. Soon this little one was on her way to
Pet Patrol and a foster home with Suzie and Simon, also kittens who were found alone and
abandoned. She has thrived in our care.

Personality:

Sofie is an adorable and affectionate wee black & white cat. She quite enjoys cuddling before nodding off for nap time in your arms, or stretched out on your lap. It is always enjoyable after a
busy day of running around and doing kitten stuff. Her favourite pastime is running through the
cat sized tunnels, climbing anything she can and chasing small toys. If you are able to use a
big cardboard box and make little windows for her to peek out of, she finds it never gets old.
Of course wrestling and chasing her best buddy Simon is always in order. Sofie is ready to
be adopted into her forever home with a playmate. One that will welcome her into the family
and keep her safely indoors.
