Rescue:

Last year, Pet Patrol received a phone call from a local vet clinic about three little cats – sisters Ava
and Aisha, and a little boy named Xavier. They had been brought into the clinic to be spayed,
neutered, and receive their vaccines, but what the clinic was concerned about was that the cats
were destined to live in a barn. Having a big heart, the vet said that she would find homes for them
instead of these little cats going into a big barn with large animals. From there, they stayed at her
clinic for some time, did very well socially, and eventually Pet Patrol was able to take them into our
care to find them permanent new homes. Ava and Aisha are bonded, so they were adopted together. Fast forward six months and these pretty girls had been in their adopted home, seemingly
fine, when their owner called. They said they could no longer keep the cats and hoped that we
could rehome them. Hearing of this, Ava and Aisha’s original foster readily took them back, finding
them to be outgoing, friendly, affectionate and happy-go-lucky.

Personality:

Aisha and Ava love to play with each other, as well as cuddle together to rest. Their preferred toys
are wands, cat dancers, and crinkly balls, but laser pointers are their all time favourite. When you
wake up in the morning, they will come right to you with their tails straight up to the ceiling and
they’ll ask for pets. Ava comes and bumps her head into her human’s hands, while Aisha sniffs,
then turns around with her tail up so she can get back scratches. When sitting on the couch, the
girls will sit right in between their foster parents and enjoy all the attention! They love to put their
butt up or flop onto the ground when getting pets, then roll left to right to express how happy they
are. These incredibly affectionate and well-rounded sisters are ready for their forever family!
