Rescue:
A family that runs a horse farm spotted Ginny by the side of the road, looking for food. She was
dangerously close to stepping out into the street, so they approached. When she fled, they
followed her and found that Ginny had been hiding under a shed on their property. They also
found signs that Ginny was sneaking into the back of the horse barn for warmth before scurrying
back into her makeshift home. Upon looking under the shed, the farmers were surprised to see
two kittens. That’s when they got in touch with Pet Patrol. When rescuers arrived, Ginny was
friendly and touchable, but too scared to come out of hiding. The group did their best to try and
coax her out with food and water, but the ticket to her heart ended up being a feather toy! Ginny
& her kittens were lured out through the promise of play time and all were taken to the Pet Patrol
sanctuary.
Personality:
Ginny is a sweet girl who will bunt her head into your hand and ask for pets. She is best in a quiet
home where she can receive a lot of attention so her full personality will confidently shine
through. Here at the sanctuary, she is a little over whelmed by the number of cats and their various
personalities, although it is usually a calm and predictable space. Her favorite place to relax is in a
cubby where she can see everything that is going on, specifically a view of the window to watch
who is coming and going. She likes to chase plastic springs, lounge in a cardboard box with her
mousey, or chase after a crinkle ball. Ginny is lovely, petite and gentle. She is ready to be adopted
into her forever home, one that will welcome her into the family and keep her safely indoors.
