Rescue:
Little Ellie was first spotted on an oppressively hot summer day, looking for shade on the back
porch of a home out in the middle of no where. The property, which runs a turkey operation,
was located at the end of a long lane off a paved road with a lot of local traffic. The farmers
were quite worried about her and her two siblings, being dehydrated or trampled by trucks,
cars and machinery. They did their best to bring these wee kittens inside and provide them with
what may have been their first drink of water in days. Once content with their bellies full and
settled, in the rescuers proceeded to search for signs of any other cats or kittens nearby, but
they couldn’t even find signs of where the babies had come from. There was no mother or other
siblings to be seen. The rescuers then called Pet Patrol, who gladly took the kittens in.
Personality:
Ellie is ready for all the world has to offer! She is curious and outgoing and happy to explore.
Her colouring is truly unique – a bright peach spot on top of her head and grey tabby just about
everywhere else. Ask her about the wee peach patches on her belly – she’ll show you. She
loves to romp and play with her siblings. Chasing a cat dancer is fun but any box is also a
great adventure and she’ll thoroughly check out the outside, inside, top, and bottom of it for
you. Ellie would be happy to be adopted with a sibling – Eli or Emory – but could also strike out
on her own for this next adventure! She is ready to be adopted into her forever home with a
playmate. One that will welcome her into the family and keep her safely indoors.
