Rescue:
Pet Patrol received a message from another small cat rescue: “I have heard about two lovely
kittens, male and female, both appear very healthy and are up on their vaccinations. They have
been in a foster home with another rescue organization for a while, and orginally came from a rural
property where the people do things the traditional way. There was a sign on the fence post, at the
end of their lane, stating FREE KITTENS. A woman who helps with the rescue saw the sign, and
immediately turned down the lane off of the busy highway, intending on giving these kittens a safe
and healthy life. The family was more than happy to relinquish custody of the entire litter, but
unfortunately unwilling to have the mother cat spayed. After taking them home, she nurtured them.
All the kittens were adopted, except for Atticus and his sister Amira, and so through the network of
cat rescue organizations, they came into Pet Patrol’s care. The kittens have thoroughly enjoyed a
life indoors and with a lot of attention.
Personality:
Atticus and Amira are high energy, cuddly little fur balls. Atticus has never met a hug he didn’t like.
He’s a sweet gentleman who is all about snuggles, and when on his own, he’ll happily explore kitty
tunnels. Amira loves cuddling and you’ll know by the purr storm she stirs up! She also is big on play
time, especially with balls. Both kitties are ready for a home that can keep up with their energy by
providing regular playtime. They’d also love a family that will let them sleep in the bed, as they
adore being close to their humans, even when asleep. Atticus and Amira need to be kept away from
dry kibble, as it upsets their sensitive tummies, but they love their raw and wet food. These bonded
siblings are ready to be adopted, kept safely indoors, and will reward you with years of love and
affection.
