Rescue:
The woman who rescued this nice boy said that Pablo just appeared on her property one day. She
has a rural property and he was quite nervous around the other barn cats. They weren’t very nice to
him either. It was very obvious that he was a preowned cat because he was very chunky. He didn’t
know what he was doing outside and he had no knowledge of how to take care of himself. Luckily,
he showed up at this woman’s property and it was her daughter who noticed him first. He was a
little scared, but he also knew people could help him and soon took up residence in their shed. He
lived out there for about a month until they decided he wasn’t going anywhere. He needed to have
a home, and they brought him indoors. We think Pablo may have been owned by someone who
passed away and the family was not able to find a home for him. People seem to think that cats
living in the country is a positive life, but it is not. Especially when they have been couch potatoes
and much loved in a protective home.
Personality:
Pablo really is a nice boy. He has trimmed down in the three months since he was spotted. He is a
very nice and easygoing cat. He is good with people and has integrated into the sanctuary quite
well. He can be chatty when he wants something, particularly when he wants to be pet, he is a
huge cuddler. Pablo is a people cat and loves to be with his human. He’s a gentle soul. His one fear
is the vacuum. Pablo is ready to be adopted into his forever home, one that will welcome him into
the family and keep him safely indoors .
