Rescue:

Jovie and her family were born on a property that houses and sells recreational vehicles.
The two ladies that manage the office are sisters and have looked after these cats for many
years. They are quite passionate about them and made sure that they are fed twice daily,
even on their days off. Shelter was provided for the cats, year round, that were insulated
and had straw in them to keep the cats warm and dry. The owners of the company are
retiring and the property has been sold and will be redeveloped, and the sisters wondered
what will happen to the cats? A visiting couple took note of the situation and reached out to
Pet Patrol to see if we would be able to help. They offered to rescue the cats and each day
they brought in one or two cats until they were all safely in our care. Although the kitties
were not sure of the new people, they are petable and not aggressive. It won’t take long
for them to be socialized as the sisters had earned their trust.

Personality:

Jovie is a petite and playful kitty who is also curious and affectionate. Her favorite activity is
chasing after the feather wand toy with her caregiver controlling the movements so she can
swat, jump and chase after it. Other toys create a lot of fun for her as well and the catnip
mouse is a big hit. She is quite brave about investigating her new environment , though she
can be a bit wary and cautious when brought into a new space. Over all she has adjusted
very well to home life and enjoys the company of her people and other cats as well. Jovie
is ready to be adopted into a forever home. One that will welcome her into the family and
keep her safely indoors. She is adorable.
