Rescue:

Pet Patrol received word from a friend of the organization that a cat had been spotted hiding
around a nearby farm. She was nicknamed Maizie Blue, and while she was friendly, she wouldn’t
approach too closely. The rescuer realized this pretty cat was pregnant, so they left food out for
her and hoped she would warm up to them to ensure they could help her care for the soon ­to­ be born kittens. As Maizie’s due date grew closer, she became more and more interested in staying
near the safety of the house, but would then disappear every night. Where did she go? One
morning, she arrived thinner; ­ she had had her kittens. She was finally found with her five newborns
in front of the barn’s silos, wedged into a makeshift cave where a wooden pallet leaned against the
cement padding. Such a temporary place was not safe from predators, and this little feline family
was rescued soon after.

Personality:

Jynx is a spirited beauty with an adventurous heart and a bold personality to match. This energetic
little lass is always the first to explore her surroundings or dive into action when a new toy arrives—
her favorite being brightly colored springs, though she’s happy with anything she can chase and
pounce on. Wrestling, climbing, and jumping keep her thoroughly entertained. When she’s not busy
being the life of the party, Jynx loves be with her person, giving them a good grooming. Then when
her energy finally runs out, Jynx is all about the snuggles. Whether it’s a soft blanket or her
person’s chest, she’ll settle in, purring softly as she drifts off to recharge for her next round of fun.
Jynx is ready to be adopted into her forever home, one that will welcome her into the family and
keep her safely indoors.
